Mark Tkaciuk is a Moldovan politician, historian, archaeologist, and anthropologist. He served as a prominent advisor to President Vladimir Voronin during the early 2000s and played a key role in the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova. After a period of withdrawal from politics, he co-founded the Common Action Party – Civic Congress in 2019, which advocates for social market economy and civic rights. In 2025, he joined the 'Alternativa' political bloc to promote European integration.
