Mark Tullos

Mark Tullos is an American lawyer and politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 79th district. Based in Raleigh, Mississippi, he maintains a private law practice. Tullos gained national attention following his 2015 election campaign against incumbent Democrat Blaine Eaton, which resulted in a tie that was initially decided by drawing straws. Following an appeal to the Republican-controlled House, the chamber invalidated several affidavit votes, leading to a vote that seated Tullos in the legislature. He has since continued to serve in the Mississippi House.
