Mark van Stappershoef is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Goirle since September 2016. Before entering his current role, he had an extensive career in public service and law enforcement, including working as a police inspector and chief inspector in Tilburg. He later served as a policy advisor and head of administrative advisory services for the municipality of Tilburg, as well as a cabinet chief for the King's Commissioners Hanja Maij-Weggen and Wim van de Donk. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he is known for his background in public order and safety management.
