Mark Warner

Mark Warner is an American businessman and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Virginia, a position he has held since 2009. Previously, he served as the 69th governor of Virginia from 2002 to 2006, where he was noted for his focus on fiscal management and education reform. Before entering public office, Warner was a successful venture capitalist and co-founder of Columbia Capital. He is currently a prominent member of the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Senate Democratic Caucus, focusing on technology, telecommunications, and national security policy.
