Markus Büchler

Markus Büchler is a German politician and landscape architect who has served as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2018. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens since 1991, he previously held various local political roles, including serving as a municipal councillor in Oberschleißheim and a district councillor in Munich. Within the state parliament, he focuses on mobility policy as a spokesperson for his parliamentary group and serves on the Committee for Construction, Housing, and Transport. He holds a degree in landscape architecture and a doctorate in philosophy.
