Marleen Sanderse

Marleen Sanderse is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Hattem since September 18, 2020. Before her current role, she held various positions in local government, including serving as a municipal councilor and alderman in Naarden and Gooise Meren, as well as working as a civil servant in Almere. She also served as a member of the Provincial Council of North Holland. Beyond her political career, Sanderse is a former Paralympic rower who represented the Netherlands at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. She holds a Master of City Administration degree from the Netherlands School of Public Administration.
