Marta Temido is a Portuguese politician and administrator who currently serves as a Member of the European Parliament. Previously, she served as the Minister of Health of Portugal from 2018 to 2022, where she became a prominent public figure during the COVID-19 pandemic. An expert in hospital administration with a PhD in international health, she held various leadership roles in the public health sector before entering government. She is a member of the Socialist Party and has also served as a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic.
