Martha Marx

Martha Marx is an American politician and registered nurse currently serving as a member of the Connecticut Senate, representing the 20th district. Born in 1963, she was raised in Waterford and later settled in New London, where she raised her four children. After unsuccessful bids for the state senate in 2018 and 2020, she was elected to the seat in 2022. In addition to her legislative duties, she continues to work professionally as a registered nurse. She is a member of the Democratic Party and received an endorsement from the Working Families Party during her successful 2022 campaign.
