Martha Olivia García Vidaña

Martha Olivia García Vidaña is a Mexican politician who served as a federal deputy for the 1st District of Durango in the LXIV Legislature of the Mexican Congress from 2018 to 2021. An industrial production engineer by training, she graduated from the Technological Institute of Durango and spent much of her professional life working in the private timber industry. She entered politics in 2017 as a regional coordinator for the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) in Durango. During her tenure in the Chamber of Deputies, she served as secretary of the Environment, Sustainability, Climate Change and Natural Resources Commission and was a member of the Infrastructure and Indigenous Peoples commissions.
