Martin Elia Lomuro

Martin Elia Lomuro is a South Sudanese politician currently serving as the Minister of Cabinet Affairs in the Revitalised Transitional Government of National Unity. He is the leader of the National Agenda, a political party formerly known as the South Sudan Democratic Forum. Throughout his career, he has held significant government positions, including serving as the Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries. Lomuro has been involved in high-level negotiations regarding the country's peace process and the extension of the transitional government. In 2019, he was placed under international sanctions by the United States government, which accused him of obstructing the peace process in South Sudan. He has also faced legal scrutiny regarding financial matters in Kenya, though court orders freezing his assets were later lifted.
