Martin Kuba

Martin Kuba is a Czech politician currently serving as the Governor of the South Bohemian Region. A trained physician and former anesthesiologist, he previously served as the Minister of Industry and Trade from 2011 to 2013 and held leadership roles within the Civic Democratic Party (ODS). After a long career with the ODS, he departed the party in late 2025 to establish a new political movement called Our Czechia in 2026. He is noted for his regional leadership and management of vaccination efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
