
Michael Kašpar

Michael Kašpar is a Czech politician and member of the Mayors and Independents (STAN) party. He has served as the Mayor of Kolín since 2019, having previously held the position of Deputy Mayor starting in 2014. In addition to his municipal leadership, he has been a representative of the Central Bohemian Region since 2020 and currently serves as the Deputy Governor for finance, ICT, and digitalization. A former high school teacher, Kašpar is known for his focus on smart city initiatives and regional development. He holds a master's degree from Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
