Martin Rhodes

Martin Rhodes is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Glasgow North since 2024. Before his election to the House of Commons, he served as a Labour councillor on Glasgow City Council from 2012 to 2022, representing the Maryhill/Kelvin and Partick East/Kelvindale wards. During his time in local government, he held roles as an executive member and spokesperson for communities. Additionally, Rhodes previously worked as the chief executive officer of the Scottish Fairtrade Forum and has been an advocate for LGBT+ rights, serving as an honorary president of LGBT+ Labour Scotland. He is currently a member of the Environmental Audit Select Committee.
