Martin Rothweiler is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg, where he serves as the leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) parliamentary group and as the leader of the opposition. Born in 1978 in Schorndorf, he holds a degree in business administration and a Master of Arts in International Business Management from the University Carlos III in Madrid. Before entering full-time politics, he worked as a hotel manager in Italy for over a decade. Rothweiler has been a member of the AfD since 2013 and has served on the Villingen-Schwenningen municipal council and the Schwarzwald-Baar district council. He previously worked as a personal assistant to Bundestag member Marc Bernhard.
