Martin Sträßer

Martin Sträßer is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, representing the Mettmann IV constituency since 2017. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1977, he has held various local political roles, including serving on the Velbert city council and the Mettmann district council. Before his election to the state parliament, Sträßer worked as a lawyer and served as the deputy managing director for the chemical industry association VCI in North Rhine-Westphalia. He resides in Wülfrath, where he also served as a city council member until 2025.
