Martina Diesner-Wais

Martina Diesner-Wais is an Austrian politician and master farmer who has served as a member of the National Council since 2013. Born in Waidhofen an der Thaya, she began her political career in local government in Schrems, where she has served as a city councilor. Prior to her tenure in the National Council, she was a member of the Austrian Federal Council from 2003 to 2013. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles within agricultural organizations and the Austrian People's Party, focusing on regional development, tourism, and economic affairs.
