Mary Coyle

Mary Coyle is a Canadian politician serving as a senator for Nova Scotia since her appointment in 2017. A long-time advocate for gender equality, Indigenous rights, and international development, she previously held leadership roles at the Coady International Institute and worked extensively in the non-profit and microfinance sectors, including positions in Botswana, Indonesia, and Canada. As a member of the Independent Senators Group, she focuses on policy areas such as climate change, foreign affairs, and Indigenous relations.
