Mary Creagh is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Coventry East since 2024 and as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Nature. Previously, she served as the MP for Wakefield from 2005 to 2019, during which time she held several shadow cabinet positions, including Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Before her parliamentary career, she was a councillor for the London Borough of Islington. Creagh is known for her advocacy on environmental issues, public health, and international development, and she previously led the national walking charity Living Streets.
