Marzouq Al-Ghanim

Marzouq Al-Ghanim is a Kuwaiti politician and former speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, representing the second district. Born in November 1968, he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Seattle University and worked for Boubyan Petrochemical Company before entering parliament in 2006. Throughout his political career, he has served multiple terms as National Assembly Speaker and held leadership roles in regional parliamentary unions. Al-Ghanim is known for his vocal stances on regional geopolitics, including opposition to certain economic proposals and outspoken criticism of Israeli delegations and U.S. Middle East peace plans.
