Masahiko Imae is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the Shiga Prefectural Assembly, representing the Omihachiman and Ryuo constituency. A long-time public servant, he previously worked for the Omihachiman City government, holding positions such as Secretary and Public Relations Division Manager and Deputy Secretary-General of the City Council. Throughout his five terms in the prefectural assembly, he has focused on policy areas including regional healthcare, elderly care, and child-rearing support. He is affiliated with the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan.
