Masahiro Kikuchi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Himi City in Toyama Prefecture. Born in 1968, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Meiji University. Before entering politics, he had a long career with the Toyama Prefectural Government, where he held various positions including Director of the Infectious Disease Control Division and Deputy Director of the Management Department. In 2024, following the resignation of the incumbent mayor, Kikuchi was selected as a candidate with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito. He was elected unopposed in the October 2024 Himi mayoral election.
