Masahiro Uehara is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Liberal Democratic Party, representing Kanagawa's 9th district. Born in Oita Prefecture, he graduated from the University of Tokyo with a master's degree in health sciences. Before entering national politics, he worked as a management consultant and a securities analyst at Nomura Securities, and later founded an educational business. He served two terms as a member of the Kawasaki City Council from 2019 to 2026 before being elected to the national Diet in the 51st general election.
