粕谷智浩

Tomohiro Kasuya is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Sodegaura in Chiba Prefecture. Born in 1976, he graduated from Kanagawa University with a master's degree in engineering before working for a local radio company. He began his political career as a member of the Sodegaura City Council, serving two terms starting in 2012. In 2019, he was elected as the Mayor of Sodegaura with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito. He was re-elected to a second term in 2023 after running unopposed, marking the first uncontested mayoral election in the city in twenty years.
