Masanobu Kobayashi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Iwate Prefectural Assembly, representing the Morioka constituency. First elected to the assembly in 2019, he is currently in his second term. Prior to his tenure in the prefectural assembly, he served one term as a member of the Morioka City Council starting in 2015. A graduate of Soka University, Kobayashi previously worked in the private sector before taking over his family's sign-making business. He is active within the Komeito party, currently serving as the representative for the Komeito Iwate Prefectural Headquarters.
