Masaru Kanei is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Fukui Prefectural Assembly, representing the Ono City constituency. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and has been elected to the assembly twice. In his legislative capacity, he serves on the Standing Committee on Health and Welfare, the Special Committee on Budget and Settlement, and the Special Committee on Harassment Countermeasures. He also holds the position of the 113th Vice-Chairman of the Fukui Prefectural Assembly.
