松井正剛

Masatake Matsui is a Japanese politician and dentist currently serving as the Mayor of Sakurai City in Nara Prefecture, a position he has held since 2011. Born in Sakurai, he followed his family's tradition in dentistry and graduated from Osaka Dental University. Before his mayoral career, he served six terms as a member of the Nara Prefectural Assembly, where he also held the position of assembly chair. As mayor, he has focused on addressing local administrative issues, including the resolution of problems surrounding the former agricultural theme park 'Himiko no Sho'. He is currently serving his fourth term as mayor.
