尾脇雅弥

Masaya Owaki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tarumizu in Kagoshima Prefecture, a position he has held for four consecutive terms since 2011. Born in Tarumizu in 1967, he graduated from the Kagoshima University of Economics (now Kagoshima International University) in 1989. Before entering politics, he worked for several private companies and later at a medical corporation. He began his political career as a member of the Tarumizu City Council, serving two terms from 2003 until his resignation in 2010 to run for mayor. As mayor, he has focused on local administration and regional development within Tarumizu.
