加藤 雅之

Masayuki Kato is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly representing Sumida Ward. Born in 1964, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Soka University. Before his election to the assembly, he worked for 17 years as a staff member for the Komeito party, primarily supporting national legislators through the Diet Affairs Committee. Throughout his tenure in the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, he has held leadership roles such as Chair of the General Affairs Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee. His policy focus includes urban development, disaster prevention, social welfare, and the enhancement of medical and educational systems in Tokyo.
