Matt Gregg

Matt Gregg is an Australian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of Parliament for the Victorian division of Deakin since 2025. A member of the Labor Party and the Labor Right faction, Gregg previously worked as a teacher after completing qualifications in law, education, and community development. He taught in a variety of school settings, including regional, metropolitan, public, private, and specialist institutions, before transitioning to a career in law. He unsuccessfully contested the seat of Deakin in 2022 before winning the division in the 2025 federal election.
