Matthew Ball is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Colorado Senate, representing the 31st district since 2025. A fifth-generation Coloradan and a veteran of the United States Army, Ball previously served as the Policy Director for the city of Denver. He was selected by a vacancy committee in January 2025 to fill the seat vacated by Chris Hansen. Ball continues to serve as a reservist in the U.S. Army while fulfilling his legislative duties in the Colorado State Senate.
