Matthew Guy is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Parliament of Victoria since 2006. Representing the district of Bulleen in the Legislative Assembly since 2014, he previously served in the Legislative Council for the Northern Metropolitan Region. Guy held the position of Leader of the Opposition in Victoria on two separate occasions, from 2014 to 2018 and again from 2021 to 2022. During his tenure as Minister for Planning from 2010 to 2014, he was known for his significant influence on urban development and his controversial approach to wind farm regulations in the state.
