Matthew Martinez

Matthew Martinez is an American politician serving as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives for the 62nd district. A seventh-generation Coloradan and U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he previously served on the Monte Vista city council and held various local government and academic board positions. His legislative priorities focus on improving access to healthcare and education, strengthening the local economy, and protecting natural resources in rural Colorado. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Adams State University and a master's degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
