Matthias Steinfurth

Matthias Steinfurth is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Brandenburg, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in 1974 in Frankfurt (Oder), he previously worked as a team leader in a municipal housing company after completing his training as a real estate specialist. Steinfurth entered local politics in 2020 as a member of the Frankfurt (Oder) city council, where he later served as parliamentary group leader. He was elected to the Brandenburg state parliament in 2024 via the state list. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has held leadership roles within the local SPD organization in Frankfurt (Oder).
