Mattie Daughtry is an American politician serving as the President of the Maine Senate. First elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2012, she became the youngest female legislator in the state at that time. She transitioned to the Maine Senate in 2020 and was elected Senate President in 2024, becoming the youngest person to hold that office in Maine history. A graduate of Smith College, Daughtry is also a small business owner and photographer who advocates for college affordability and education reform.
