Mauro Vieira

Mauro Luiz Iecker Vieira is a Brazilian career diplomat currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, a position he assumed in 2023 under President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. He previously held the same office from 2015 to 2016. A graduate of the Rio Branco Institute and Fluminense Federal University, Vieira has served as Brazil's ambassador to the United States and Argentina.
