Maxim Reshetnikov is a Russian politician currently serving as the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, a position he has held since January 2020. Prior to his federal appointment, he served as the Governor of Perm Krai from 2017 to 2020 and held various administrative roles within the Moscow city government. A member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party, Reshetnikov has been subject to international sanctions by the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
