Maximilian Hiegelsberger

Maximilian Hiegelsberger is an Austrian politician and farmer who has served as the President of the Landtag of Upper Austria since October 2021. A member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he previously held the position of provincial councilor (Landesrat) for agriculture, nutrition, and municipalities from 2010 to 2021. Before his tenure in the provincial government, he served as the mayor of Meggenhofen and as a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag. Throughout his career, he has focused on agricultural policy, rural development, and municipal finance, while also leading the Upper Austrian Farmers' League.
