Maxwell Mavhunga

Maxwell Mavhunga is a Zimbabwean politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of Parliament for Chitungwiza South since 2018. A graduate of the University of Zimbabwe, he previously worked as a lecturer at Trust Academy and Speciss College, and taught commercial law in Denmark. Before his election to the National Assembly, he held various leadership roles within the Movement for Democratic Change – Tsvangirai. In 2022, he joined the Citizens Coalition for Change and successfully retained his parliamentary seat in the 2023 general elections.
