Meenal Choubey

Meenal Choubey is an Indian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, having assumed office in February 2025. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, she previously served as a councillor for the Khubchand Baghel Ward for three consecutive terms and held the position of Leader of the Opposition in the Raipur Municipal Corporation. Choubey, who holds a postgraduate degree from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, has been a long-time activist within the BJP Mahila Morcha and is recognized as a senior leader within the city's municipal administration.
