Meg Brown

Meg Brown is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly for the Division of Franklin. First elected in the 2024 state election and re-elected in 2025, she represents the Labor Party. Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked as a hairdresser and an electorate officer, and served as a councillor for the Sorell Council from 2022 to 2023. Within the shadow ministry, she has held various portfolios, including transport, housing, and the prevention of family and sexual violence.
