Mei Li Vos

Mei Li Vos is a Dutch politician and the President of the Senate of the Netherlands, having assumed the office in 2025. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), she previously served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2010 and again from 2012 to 2017. Before her parliamentary career, she worked as a researcher and teacher at the University of Amsterdam and was a founder of the Alternative for Trade Union (AVV). Vos is known for her focus on labor market dynamics, particularly regarding freelancers and flexible workers, and identifies as a social liberal within the social-democratic PvdA.
