Sir Mel Stride

Sir Mel Stride is a British politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Central Devon since 2010. A member of the Conservative Party, he has held several high-profile government roles, including Secretary of State for Work and Pensions under Rishi Sunak and Leader of the House of Commons. Following the 2024 general election, he was appointed Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer in Kemi Badenoch's Shadow Cabinet.
