Melih Meriç is a Turkish politician and civil engineer currently serving as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for Gaziantep. Born in 1968 in Gaziantep, he graduated from the Sakarya Engineering Faculty of Istanbul Technical University in 1990. Before his election to parliament in 2023, he served as the president of the Gaziantep Chamber of Civil Engineers from 2012 to 2016 and briefly held the position of provincial chairman for the Republican People's Party (CHP) in 2019. He is a member of the parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs.
