Ömer Çelik

Ömer Çelik is a Turkish politician and journalist who currently serves as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. A long-standing member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Culture and Tourism from 2013 to 2015 and Minister of European Union Affairs from 2016 to 2018. Çelik previously worked as a political scientist and advisor, and he has served as the party's Deputy Chairman responsible for Foreign Affairs since 2010.
