Mesila Doda is an Albanian politician and a long-serving member of the Parliament of Albania. She began her political career during the 1991 student protests that led to the regime change in Albania and was a founding member of the Democratic Party of Albania. After serving with the Democratic Party for 25 years, she joined the Party for Justice, Integration and Unity in 2016. Known for her conservative political views, Doda has been a vocal advocate for national issues and has frequently opposed legislation regarding LGBT rights and the legalization of certain social practices. Beyond her parliamentary work, she has also held roles as a journalist and television presenter.
