Michael Coteau is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Scarborough—Woburn since 2025. Previously, he represented Don Valley East in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 2011 to 2021, where he held several cabinet portfolios under Premier Kathleen Wynne, including Citizenship and Immigration, and Community and Social Services. Before his provincial career, he served as a Toronto District School Board trustee and worked in adult literacy and community organization. He is currently the chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food.
