Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 15th district since his appointment in November 2021. A lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Kelly has balanced his legislative duties with a long-standing career as a firefighter for the Chicago Fire Department, a role he has held since 2003. He holds a degree in business management from Quincy University and previously worked on various political campaigns before entering office. In the Illinois House, he serves on several committees, including the Cities & Villages Committee and the Police & Fire Committee.
