Michael Labetzke is a German politician and a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in Bremerhaven in 1970, he served as a city councilor in Bremerhaven from 2019 to 2023 before being elected to the state parliament. Prior to his political career, Labetzke worked for many years with the German Federal Police, eventually serving as the head of the investigative service at the Bremen Federal Police Inspectorate. He is currently active in several parliamentary committees, including the Legal Committee and the State Deputation for Interior Affairs.
