Michael Morris, Baron Naseby

Michael Morris, Baron Naseby is a British Conservative politician and a life peer in the House of Lords. He previously served as the Member of Parliament for Northampton South from 1974 to 1997, during which time he held the position of Chairman of Ways and Means and Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons. Since his elevation to the peerage in 1997, he has been an active member of the House of Lords, where he has frequently engaged in debates regarding tobacco regulation and foreign policy, notably facing criticism for his stance on the Sri Lankan government.
