Michael Salomo is a German politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Heidenheim an der Brenz since 2021. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he previously served as the mayor of the municipality of Haßmersheim from 2014 to 2021, where he was notably the youngest full-time mayor in Germany at the time of his election. In addition to his municipal duties, Salomo is a co-initiator and spokesperson for the nationwide network of young mayors under the German Association of Towns and Municipalities. He also serves as a lecturer at the DHBW Heilbronn and the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration Kehl.
